Quinta da Pedra Milagres Alvarinho

Alvarinho from Monção e Melgaço, the Vinho Verde heartland of the grape, grown on granite under Atlantic influence. Fermentation begins in steel and finishes in very old French oak, where the wine spends twelve months with lees stirring, then ages further in bottle before release. Stone fruit, citrus, white flowers and wet rock lead the nose. The palate is medium to full-bodied and silky, cut by refreshing acidity and a long, mineral finish.
