Parajes del Valle Macabeo Maceracion

An organic, skin-contact Macabeo from Manchuela, macerated on its skins for 15 days and fermented and aged in concrete. Golden in the glass, it offers tangerine, candied orange zest and melon, with a herbal touch of basil and crushed mint. The palate is dry and pleasantly grippy, white nut, citrus and candied fruit carried by fresh acidity to a clean, savoury finish. Serve with Comté Marcel Petite 24 Months+, whose nutty, brothy depth echoes the wine's orange peel and nut notes.
