Bruno LaFon Le Sud Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir from Limoux in the Languedoc, made by a Burgundian who left his family domaine to explore the grape in the warmer south. Wild strawberry, raspberry and black raspberry lead on the nose, lifted by thyme, a hint of anise and delicate floral notes. Light to medium bodied, with silky, fine-grained tannins and fresh acidity, it finishes gently spiced and savoury. Pair with Tunworth, whose earthy, brassica depth meets the wine's red fruit and herbal edge.
