Bodegas La Horra Corimbo

Ribera del Duero from Bodegas La Horra: organically farmed, bush-trained Tinta del País from La Horra, Roa and neighbouring villages, wild-fermented and aged 14 months in mostly French barriques. Cherry and plum dominate the nose, with blackberry, undergrowth, marjoram and a stony note. Full-bodied and intense, with firm, polished tannins, fresh acidity and a long, spiced finish. Pair with Montgomery's Cheddar: its savoury depth and firm texture stand up to the wine's structure and dark fruit.
