Bedoba Orange

Kakhetian amber wine from Bedoba: whole-bunch Rkatsiteli fermented with wild yeasts in qvevri and left on its skins for around five months, blended with fresher, tank-fermented Kisi. Dried apricot, orange peel, honey and wild herbs on the nose, with a nutty edge. The palate is textured and medium-bodied, with firm, grippy phenolics, bright acidity and a long, savoury, herb-tinged finish. Pair with Cornish Kern: its sweet, nutty, Alpine-style depth matches the wine's dried fruit and grip.
